1. Who are you? – Tell us a fun fact about yourself!

I am a people-geek, entrepreneur, and connector. I grew up in Thuringia and loved spending my time either in my mom’s garage or outside on motocross tracks. My first HR touch point as an intern in our local steelworks company made me think about HR work and whether filling out documents and questionnaires actually creates value for the people working there. I wanted to find out what else is out there and ended up in a startup in Berlin, where I initially just wanted to study. Both, Berlin and the startup scene kept me and so here I am today, having my own little company, focused on HR and people skills.

2. What are you passionate about?

I am very passionate about everything that helps people grow and excel in their position and in their lives. That’s why I enjoy teaching and leading passionate people so much. Furthermore, I love high-speed, racing cars and motorcycles – I guess that’s also the reason why I like the fast-paced startup environment so much 🙂

3. Give us a thought about the recording day!

I found it very interesting to discover how much work is in such a podcast and how many takes I needed in order to get a clear sentence out 🙂 Now I respect everyone who does it as a side project even more! But it also totally inspired me to consult a speech coach since I tend to talk a lot but sometimes it’s hard for me to get my point across. Therefore we had several laughs today and I really look forward to the next recordings and our amazing guests!

…and Linda Zettergren

1. Who are you? – Tell us a fun fact about yourself!

Originally from the Swedish forests (in fact, the village I grew up in consists of 4 houses and 6 inhabitants), I have worked in the Berlin tech-scene since 2014 and in 2015, I joined an AIaaS company as their Head of HR, where I built and led the department. I helped scaling the company from 20 to 100 employees before founding my own consulting business in 2018.

2. What are you passionate about?

On the professional side, I’m passionate about how ScaleUps can grow sustainably. On the private side, a big passion is watching football in general and Man United in particular (not this season though).

3. Give us a thought about the recording day!

It struck me how inspiring it is to talk about mistakes and what can be learned from them!
